2. Services
E&E Painting Contractors LLC provides the following services in Kansas City, MO and surrounding areas:
- Residential interior and exterior painting
- Commercial interior and exterior painting
- Remodeling services
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Surface preparation
- Repainting and renovation
All services are performed by licensed and insured professionals. The scope of each project is defined in a written estimate or contract agreed upon by both parties prior to commencement of work.
3. Estimates & Quotes
Estimates provided through our website form or in person are free of charge and non-binding until both parties have signed a written contract or work order. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary if:
- The project scope changes after the estimate is issued.
- Unforeseen conditions (e.g., water damage, mold, structural issues) are discovered during work.
- The client requests additional work beyond the original scope.
Any changes to the original scope must be authorized in writing by the client before additional work begins.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise specified in the written contract:
- Deposit: A deposit of up to 30% of the total project cost may be required before work begins.
- Progress Payments: For larger projects, milestone-based payments may be required as outlined in the contract.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion and client sign-off.
- Accepted Methods: Cash, check, bank transfer, or as otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late Payments: Invoices unpaid after 15 days from the due date may incur a 1.5% monthly late fee.
5. Warranties & Guarantees
E&E Painting Contractors LLC stands behind its work:
- Workmanship Warranty: We guarantee our labor for 1 year from the project completion date, covering defects caused by improper application.
- Paint Materials: Paint materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We use only high-quality, industry-standard paints unless otherwise requested.
- Warranties are void if the client or a third party modifies, repairs, or applies additional coatings over our work without written authorization.
- Warranties do not cover damage caused by weather events, accidents, normal wear and tear, or improper maintenance by the client.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellation by Client: Projects cancelled more than 5 business days before the scheduled start date will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 5 business days may forfeit the deposit to cover mobilization costs.
- Rescheduling: We ask for at least 48 hours notice to reschedule. We will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests at no additional charge.
- Cancellation by Contractor: In the unlikely event we must cancel, we will provide as much notice as possible and issue a full refund of any deposit paid.
7. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth project, clients are responsible for:
- Providing safe and timely access to the work area.
- Removing or protecting personal belongings, furniture, and valuables in the work area before work begins.
- Ensuring pets and children are kept away from the work area during operations.
- Informing us of any known hazards (e.g., lead paint, asbestos) on the property.
8. Liability & Damages
E&E Painting Contractors LLC is fully licensed and insured. We carry general liability insurance to protect both our team and our clients. However:
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage or defects not disclosed prior to the start of work.
- We are not liable for damage caused by the client's failure to follow our preparation instructions.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the performance of our services.
Any damage claims must be reported in writing within 7 days of project completion. Claims reported after this period may not be honored.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of E&E Painting Contractors LLC and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jackson County, Missouri.
